This response returns examples of the software used in a career. This data may be unavailable for some careers.
Each result includes the UNSPSC
commodity code and title under which the examples are grouped. Zero or more example properties follow, indicating more specific products or types of software used by workers in the occupation.
Examples classified as “hot technologies,” which are frequently mentioned in job postings across all occupations, are identified with a hot_technology property set to true. My Next Move marks hot technologies with a fire icon — developers can download this icon in multiple sizes from the Resource Center Graphics section. Additional information about a specific hot technology can be obtained from the Occupations in Hot Technology service (part of O*NET OnLine Services).
Examples classified as “in demand,” which are frequently mentioned in job postings for the requested occupation, are identified with a in_demand property set to true. The percentage property shows the percentage of job postings which mention this technology skill. My Next Move marks in-demand skills with a chart icon — developers can download this icon in multiple sizes from the Resource Center Graphics section.
